Favorite Fall Recipes

Happy Fall everyone!  It’s time to embrace all the best of the season that so many of us wait for all year long.  Although, I’m wondering if it won’t be long before all things fall are skipped all together.  You know what I’m talking about if you’ve innocently walked the aisles at the store and suddenly feel like December blew up in your face.

But take heart and be strong!  Even though it’s tempting to give in and start that Christmas shopping list, we must give fall our full attention!  She deserves to have her time without Christmas trying to steal her thunder, don’t you agree? She’s like that poor middle child who can’t compete with the summer fun-in-the-sun game and will never quite measure up to Santa Claus in the world’s eyes.  But even though she may feel stuck in the middle, there is so much to love about her.  In her honor, here are my five favorite and most popular sweet and savory fall recipes!

Best Ever Pumpkin Muffins

First up, my Best Ever Pumpkin Muffins.  Everyone LOVES these.  They are fluffy, moist and perfectly spiced.  Easily the most popular recipe on LLK right now!

Soft Pumpkin Cookies

Coming in second are these Soft Pumpkin Cookies.  Quite possibly the perfect cookie for fall.

Creamy Cashew Pumpkin Soup

On the savory side, this Creamy Cashew Pumpkin Soup won my heart last year.  Its creaminess comes from blended cashews, not cream or milk.  Genius! And the toppings are everything.

Creamy Crockpot Chicken Chili

Another family favorite is this Creamy Crockpot Chicken Chili.  We make this one often at our house this time of year, and it’s a definite favorite.  And yes, Fritos.  I like to think I’m a little classier than Fritos, but nope – I’m not.

Chicken Pot Pie

Last but not least – my version of Chicken Pot Pie.  I made up this recipe back when I had major homemade pie crust issues.  Instead of pie crust, it uses frozen puff pastry.  It looks super impressive and has great reviews.  Enjoy!

  1. Good morning, yes your pumpkin muffins are so, so good! I have made them many times and craving all things pumpkin right now. I swore I had a can in my pantry this week only to discover the horror that I didn’t! So disappointing! Since I’m recovering from surgery, I wasn’t able to hop in the car to get some. But pumpkin is on my shopping list for the weekend and I can’t wait! Have to admit, I have already purchased some Christmas gifts because I hate shopping with everyone else in December (plus the deals I got were too good to overlook.) Have a great day!
