If you’ve been following Lovely Little Kitchen long, you’ve probably heard me mention my Silpat baking mat.  I use it almost every time something goes into the oven, which is pretty much every day.  So what’s so special about Silpat you ask?  I love the way you can be sure nothing will stick, how evenly it transfers heat, and how it makes clean up a breeze.  You never have to grease your baking sheet, and unlike parchment paper, it can be used again and again.

With the New Year, and LLK’s six month birthday right around the corner, we decided to celebrate with our very first giveaway and a fresh new look too!

I’ve mentioned before that my husband Cory does all the techy stuff for Lovely Little Kitchen.  Sorry to be bragging about him, but I’m not sure what I do without that guy!  You would definitely be staring at a blank screen if it wasn’t for him!  Yep, he’s a keeper.  He has a great eye for design, and we had fun working together to make Lovely Little Kitchen look… well, even more lovely.
