I’m happy to be teaming up with DOLE® Canned Pineapple Juice to bring you this refreshing cream slush recipe, perfect for summer!
I’m so excited to share this DOLE Pineapple Strawberry Cream Slush recipe with you! The boys are out of school, and summer is in full swing around here. As the temps warm up (and up and up and up), we are spending lots of time playing hard and trying to stay cool. Sometimes the heat can really get to me. I’ve lived here in Arizona all my life, and the summer heat is not for wimps! But we try to focus on the fun parts of summer, and one of our favorite things to do is to go swimming. We get out extra energy, get in some exercise, have fun together, and make memories too. All that swimming makes us thirsty! The boys and I love getting cream slushes from a nearby drive thru burger joint. This recipe reminds me a lot of those cream slushes but it’s way better because it is made with real fruit instead of fake fruit syrup and it is so easy to make at home. All you need is four ingredients and a good blender, and you are ready to go!
This cream slush was a huge hit at our house! Everyone sipped theirs down to the very last drop and then asked for more! One of the ingredients that make this cream slush so refreshing is DOLE Canned Pineapple Juice. I love the way it balances out the sweetness and adds just the right amount of tang. You can find it in the juice aisle of your grocery store in the larger 46-ounce cans, or in these convenient 6-ounce six packs. The smaller cans work great for this recipe because you can use two and save the rest for another time. It’s great to use in smoothies and even in marinades. My boys love to drink it on its own instead of orange juice with breakfast too.
Summer is here to stay for a while, but the heat doesn’t have to get us down. Let’s make it the best one yet. Find a pool to relax by and treat yourself to one of the best homemade cream slushes you’ll ever have! Share with your family and friends, and they’ll love you for it. Cheers to summer!

Wow, these slushies look sooo creamy! They’re probably my favorite drink during summer time, since they’re so refreshing yet still kind of healthy. I was just wondering, I don’t really like pineapple juice so, what can I substitute it with? Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
Julie says
You could any flavor juice you like.

I’m a native Arizona girl, too. I pretty much want to bathe in this stuff. The smell alone…Heaven! I’ll be making lots of these this summer. Thank you!

Mmmm! I’m gonna try this out and swap out ice cream for vanilla yogurt just because that’s what I have on hand. 🙂
