- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup salt
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 teaspoons cream of tartar
- food coloring by the drop
- Combine all of the ingredients into a large pot and stir together over medium heat.
- Continue to cook and stir until a ball of dough forms, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the dough ball onto a clean countertop and knead until smooth.
- Allow to cool slightly, and then place the dough in a plastic zip top bag with the air squeezed out.
